Deven you and that hack Lady Appel must have gone to the same community college because your writing skills are equally as egregious as hers. Hopefully, you don't do the grant writing for your organization (and I have lived in San Diego County since 1976 and have never heard of your "organization").
Lady Appel has been banned from some arts organizations in this community because she is such an asshole. I have the feeling that more will ban her because of her LIBELOUS column item regarding the Old Globe Theatre (which, for SOME reason has disappeared. I wonder why?). In that column she stated that a Globe staffer went to court to get a restraining order from the executive director. The problem with this item is: IT'S NOT TRUE. Rather than CONFIRM the gossip she was fed, she did not check her sources and libeled the Globe staffer in question. Lady Appel and the webmaster of this website SHOULD BE SUED for allowing libelous statements to be published on this light bright site. Dale Morris is a complete failure as an "editor."
It is time for the arts community to stand behind their Old Globe colleagues and BAN ROB APPEL FROM ENTERING THEIR HALLS WITH PRESS TICKETS. If the fat ass wishes to attend, she should PAY FOR ALL OF HER TICKETS. Not only does she DEMAND four COMP TICKETS (most press get two), she will HARASS the box office for more tickets. Lady Appel cuts in line and asks for the theatres to OPEN EARLY so she and her friends can get in AHEAD OF THE PUBLIC.
It's time to bring down the curtain on Lady Appel once and for all.
As far as Deven P. Brawley - who am I? None of your business. And where do I get off? That's an awfully personal question.
